NGC 3201 is a low galactic latitude globular cluster in the southern constellation of Vela. It has a very low central concentration of stars. Located approximately 16,300 light-years away.

A distant star in the cluster NGC 3201 that's exhibiting odd behavior may be drawing attention to a secret. A team of international astronomers thinks it's behaving that way because the star is orbiting a black hole that has four times the mass of our Sun.

A single 5-minute guided exposure at just over 1000mm focal length. #southernhemisphere #skywatcher #heq5pro #rc6 #zwo #asiair #asi533
